Syncronicity - 1X2 Gaming and Caliber Comics Sign Partnership Agreement
After months of negotiations, Caliber Comics and 1X2 Gaming have signed a partnership agreement to allow for the development of cutting edge video slot games based on popular graphic novels and comics that are owned and have been published by Caliber Comics throughout the years.
The announcement was made by Caliber Comics CEO and Founder Gary Reed who is pleased with the opportunity to see some of his company's efforts come to life in the exciting realm of online casino games. The importance of this new endeavor was confirmed by 1X2 Gaming’s Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Reid who says his organization is excited by the opportunity to develop and market these adult themed comics and novels for a fast-growing online casino industry in need of new "blood."
1X2 Gaming has been an active developer of some of the best online slots currently in use throughout the world of online gaming casinos. The company has been in operation since its introduction in 2003, and they are headquartered in the UK tech-hub of Brighton & Hove. 1X2 Gaming has gained a solid reputation for innovation that has produced numerous popular video slot games as well as virtual sports games, table games, bingo, keno and arcade style games. Among the company's popular video slot titles are "Halloween Horrors," "Dark Thirst," "Blood Bank" and "Candy Land."
For Caliber Comics, this agreement marks another important step in the comeback efforts for the comic publishing company that originally ceased operations in 2000 due to slumping sales. Ross decided the time was right to bring the company back to life in 2014 due in large part to the growing popularity of the Zombie culture which feeds right into the company's original line of materials. Some of Caliber Comics' most popular works include "The Crow," "Golgothika," "Helsing," "Red Diaries," "Lori Lovecraft" and "Raven Chronicles."
Along with the establishment of this important partnership agreement comes the release of the first game based on a popular Caliber Comics publication called "Deadworld." This video slot game takes the player into the world of warriors and zombies in a fight to find the ultimate payouts. The game features 5 reels and 50 different pay lines with low-paying standard symbols, a wild symbol and a scatter symbol that holds the key to entering an exciting bonus round with multipliers and the chance to win big dollars. With over 1,400 properties to choose from, the next three video slot games to be released will be based on Legend Lore, Justice Machine, and Caliber’s Sherlock Holmes adaptation.
In the world of casino slots developed specifically for the online gaming industry, Comic book based slots have performed quite well as evidenced by popular online gaming developer Playtech's alignment with Marvel Comics, which has led to the development of popular slot games based on superheroes like "The Hulk," "The Avengers," "Thor," "Iron Man" and "X-Men." Other companies have develop games based on "Batman," "Spiderman," "Zorro" and "Wonder Woman."
